Classical Music Journey
Raymond Doerr is a violinist with Tualatin Symphony Orchestra, as well as secretary of the orchestra’s board of directors. He identifies as a violinist, engineer, and composer with his day job as a photolithography process engineer at Intel Corporation. Raymond has played internationally with the Yokosuka Symphony in Japan; and with the Seattle Youth Symphony and University of Washington Symphony Orchestras. He is a self taught composer who is compelled to write music because he “hears music in his head all the time,” inspired by the depth of feeling and sense of harmony of his favorite composers of old and new.
